Performance and Foundations Assessment

Performance Assessment

Move better. Lift better. Know what to work on.

A Performance Assessment is designed for current members or anyone with CrossFit or lifting experience who wants a clearer plan for improving.

We’ll look at your goals, movement, mobility, strength, stability, and lifting technique to identify the areas that deserve the most attention.

You’ll leave with a simple plan that complements your regular CrossFit training and can be used during warm-ups, cool-downs, open gym, or additional training.

Great for athletes who want to:

  • Improve a specific lift or skill
  • Address mobility or stability limitations
  • Build strength in a weak area
  • Get more direction during open gym
  • Work toward a specific training goal

Foundations Assessment

New to CrossFit? Start With a Clear Plan.

The Foundations Assessment is a one-on-one, 60 minute session designed for people who are new to CrossFit or structured strength training.

We’ll go through the basic movement patterns you’ll see most often in class, including:

  • Squatting
  • Hinging
  • Push-ups and basic upper-body pressing
  • Mobility and movement restrictions
  • Basic bracing and body control

From there, we’ll develop a clear plan for how to integrate into regular CrossFit classes, including:

  • Where you should start
  • Appropriate scaling options
  • Movements or positions that may need extra attention
  • What coaches should be aware of
  • Simple work you can use during warm-ups, cool-downs, or open gym

The goal is not to determine whether you are “ready” for CrossFit. CrossFit is scalable to a wide range of abilities. The goal is to give you a better understanding of your starting point and help you enter class with more confidence and direction.
