Coach
My CrossFit journey began in 2009 after completing my first Ironman triathlon. Looking to get stronger for endurance racing, I wandered into a CrossFit gym in California and was quickly humbled when I couldn’t complete a single pull-up. That moment opened my eyes to a major gap in my fitness and sparked a passion that would change the course of my life.
Hooked by the challenge and results, I earned my CrossFit Level 1 certification in 2010 and began coaching shortly thereafter. As an Air Force spouse, I had the unique opportunity to coach at multiple gyms across the country, working alongside a wide range of athletes, coaches, and gym owners. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for different coaching styles, gym cultures, and the importance of community.
With over a decade of coaching experience, I’ve worked with athletes across the full spectrum, from brand-new moms to competitive athletes and older adults beginning their fitness journey. I was honored to coach my son on his path to the 2018 CrossFit Games and have competed myself at the regional level on two teams, along with numerous local competitions.
I hold my CrossFit Level 1, Precision Nutrition Level 1, and have completed additional coursework in gymnastics and weightlifting. I am also a registered nurse and bring a health-focused, longevity-driven approach to helping athletes build strength, confidence, and lifelong fitness.
